Free Online Crime Reading Panel

Join Penny and four other crime writers at a FREE panel event for the online launch of this year’s National Crime Reading Month, run by the Crime Writers’ Association.

Emma Christie chairs the panel with Penny Batchelor, Victoria Dowd, Heather Critchlow and forensic scientist Professor Jim Fraser chipping in. The theme of the event is:

In what seems an increasingly dangerous world,  why do people still crave crime fiction?

Attendees will have the chance to ask the panel their own questions. Tickets are free and available at crimereading.com .

National Crime Reading Month is an annual campaign, which happens every June, to encourage new readers, avid readers, non-crime readers and in fact all readers to take a fresh look at the wide and wonderful range of crime fiction and non-fiction books. Led by the Crime Writers Association, with partners the Reading Agency, readers can spend a whole summer month focussing on the pure pleasure of crime reading.

Penny is proud to be the National Crime Reading Month’s Ambassador for the West Midlands.
